LEGAL PROFESSION

The advocacy service as a legal profession is regulated in particular by the Act No. 586/2003 Coll. on advocacy and the amendment and supplementation of the Act No. 455/1991 Coll. on trade licensing (the Trade Licensing Act) as amended (hereinafter referred to as the "Act on Advocacy") and the internal regulations of the professional organisation recognised by the state – the Slovak Bar Association.

The advocacy service is a free and independent profession, the basic task of which is the due representation and legal protection of rights and legally privileged interests of clients. The Lawyer is bound by generally binding legal regulations and, within their limitations, by the client’s instruction. The Lawyer uses all the legal means and applies everything that considers as beneficial for the client and in accordance with law upon the own consideration.

The profession of lawyer is based on ethical principles and strict application of the obligation of confidentiality. The relationship between the Lawyer and the client is established on the mutual trust that is binding us.
